Abstract

A computational model was developed to define cellular mechanisms involved with cellular reorientation in response to cyclic stretch. The model was used to accurately predict perpendicular alignment of actin filaments in response to stretch. The model can be used to further analyze mechanisms involved with cellular reorientation.
