Abstract
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a psychiatric disorder which is fluctuations in affect, unstable interpersonal relationships and impulsive behaviors with self-conception complexity. The presence of inconsistent behaviors of people who are borderline personality disorder causes loss of function and difficulties in interpersonal relations. There are so many studies about the concept of empathy which affects interpersonal relationships regarding on borderline personality disorder. Empathy is defined as of one person's opinion which has according to any other person's perspective as well as feeling other person's thought and affect. In this study, research findings related to research on Borderline and Empathy were included, and the research was carried out in the form of a retrospective review of publications on the subject. The individuals who are being BPD have superficial and weak interpersonal relationships, which associated with poor empathy skills. It is found that individuals who are being BPD affect the level of parental relations and attitudes, environmental factors and the level of empathy skills of environmental factors, which associated with poor empathy skills. It is found that individuals with BPD affect the level of parental relations and attitudes, environmental factors and the level of empathy skills of environmental factors.
