Abstract

During chronic infection, several factors contribute to the biogeography of microbial communities. Heterogeneous populations of Pseudomonas aeruginosa form aggregates in cystic fibrosis airways; however, the impact of this population heterogeneity on spatial organization and aggregate assembly is not well understood.
