Abstract

Streptococcus pyogenes , a human pathogen known for causing infections such as pharyngitis and necrotizing fasciitis, uses quorum sensing (QS) to regulate social responses in its environment. Previous studies have focused on disrupting QS as a means to control specific bacterial signaling outcomes.
