Abstract

Antibiotic resistance is rising rapidly among pathogenic bacteria, becoming a global public health problem that threatens the effectiveness of therapies for many infectious diseases. In this respect, antimicrobial peptides appear to be an interesting alternative to combat bacterial pathogens.
