Abstract

Nile tilapia ( Oreochromis niloticus ) is one of the most economically important cultured fish species throughout the world. Streptococcosis is a significant threat to global Nile tilapia farming. Enterococcus faecalis has recently emerged as an important pathogen of streptococcosis in Asia and Africa.
