Abstract

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a major threat to public health. Its ability to thrive in clinical settings, water distribution systems, or even jet fuel tanks is linked to detoxification and degradation of diverse hydrophobic substrates that are metabolized via alcohol intermediates.
