Abstract

ABSTRACT The Vitek 2 gram-positive (GP) card was compared with an oligonucleotide array approach for the identification of 190 Staphylococcus strains, including 35 species, isolated from clinical and environmental specimens. The GP card provided a rapid and reliable identification of most species, whatever their origin.
