Abstract
A strain of
Haemophilus influenzae
isolated from sputum has been shown to be resistant to chloramphenicol, ampicillin, and tetracycline. All three resistances were transferred together to recipients when the selecting antibiotic was ampicillin, chloramphenicol, or tetracycline.
