Abstract
Levels of deoxyribonuclease and ribonuclease activities in the supernatant (soluble plus ribosomes) fraction of
Mycoplasma gallisepticum
were assayed and found to be a function of strain, nutrient, and culture age. In yeast hydrolysate-enriched broth, maximal nuclease activities occurred during exponential growth.
