Abstract

ABSTRACT We present the complete genome sequence of the probiotic strain Lactobacillus acidophilus ATCC 9224. The genome sequence provides a valuable resource for investigating the phylogenetic evolution of this lineage and conducting comparative genomics with other Lactobacillus strains and species.
