Abstract

Vancomycin is recommended for the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections (SSTI) and bone and joint infections (BJI). However, a detailed investigation of the pharmacokinetic profile and optimal dosing regimens of vancomycin in pediatric patients with SSTI and BJI is lacking.
