ABSTRACT
The circular extrachromosomal element of
Naegleria gruberi
strain EGB was linearized, molecularly cloned, and fully sequenced. The sequence comprises 14,007 bp and encodes the organism’s rRNA genes, two potential open reading frames, and numerous repeated sequence regions.
