Abstract

Vibrio cholerae can inhabit both marine and freshwater ecosystems and can also enter and proliferate in the intestine of different animals which consume contaminated food or water. To successfully colonize the intestines of different hosts, V. cholerae coordinates its gene expression in response to different environments.
