Abstract
ABSTRACT
A case of a male, 17-year-old, X-linked agammaglobulinemia patient with bacteremia caused by
Veillonella parvula
, without a defined primary site of infection, is presented. The report demonstrates that
V. parvula
should not be regarded as a nonpathogenic microorganism, at least not in patients with certain forms of immunodeficiency disease.
