Abstract

ABSTRACT We report genome sequences of Listeria monocytogenes sequence type (ST) 1733 from a 2013 pseudo-outbreak, where L. monocytogenes isolation from non-sterile sites (urine, wound, or abscess) was an artifact from contaminated sheep blood in the isolation media. Two ST1733 strains from wound and urine in 2005 are also reported.
