Abstract
The obstacle to replacing petroplastics with PHA is its high production cost. To increase the fermentation economy, a novel strategy of coupling a MF with salinity upshock was applied, which enhanced the PHA volumetric productivity of
H. mediterranei
in fermenting molasses wastewater.
