Abstract

ABSTRACT A multiplex PCR procedure for detecting the aminoglycoside resistance genes aac(6′)-Ie-aph(2")-Ia , aph(2")-Ib , aph(2")-Ic , aph(2")-Id , aph(3′)-IIIa , and ant(4′)-Ia was evaluated and found to determine accurately the presence of these genes in enterococci.
