Abstract

Guidelines for surgical prophylactic dosing of cefazolin in bariatric surgery vary in terms of recommended dose. This study aimed to describe the plasma and interstitial fluid (ISF) cefazolin pharmacokinetics in patients undergoing bariatric surgery and to determine an optimum dosing regimen.
