Abstract

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is an enveloped, reverse-transcribing DNA virus that is a major cause of liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma. Subcellular trafficking events underpinning HBV capsid assembly and virion egress remain poorly characterized.
