Abstract

ABSTRACT We report the first case of disseminated infection with both Actinomyces graevenitzii and Mycobacterium tuberculosis and review the medical literature. Concomitant actinomycosis and tuberculosis is very rare. The potential of the facultatively aerobic, newly described A. graevenitzii for disseminated invasive infection needs to be evaluated.
