Telecon with Dr. Albert Thona, Barco Product Manager, on 5 April 2019, indicated the preliminary gammas of 3.46 – 3.85 for red, 3.71 – 4.12 for green, and 3.43 – 3.82 for blue initially derived for our oral report to the SPIE Defense and Commercial Sensing Symposium, Degraded Visual Environments Conference, were well within the ball park of expected gammas based on the Barten model for white. As shall be seen, the “refined” gammas we are reporting in the current proceedings volume paper all have averages which are slightly higher.
