ABSTRACT
In 519 female and 948 male healthy subjects of all age groups between 1 and 70 years the 24-hour excretion of 17-ketosteroids in urine has been determined on 2 or 3 consecutive days. On behalf of the relatively great number of 3360 assays the influence of endogenous and exogenous factors such as weight, height, weather, etc. upon the results as demonstrated by the statistically established excretion curve could be neglected. The present excretion curve is compared to similar ones of other authors.
