Abstract
ABSTRACT
A 64-year-old woman presented with findings of hyperthyroidism and a pelvic mass, which was demonstrated to concentrate radioiodine. Following surgical removal of a struma ovarii, all symptoms disappeared. This case represents the first reported demonstration of a functioning ovarian struma by means of radioiodine scanning.
