Abstract
ABSTRACT
This review summarizes the present knowledge concerning in vitro effects of sex steroid hormones. Moreover, methods are described which may allow the assessment of oestrogen action on chick oviduct in vivo by assaying the cell free synthesis of a tissue specific protein (ovalbumin) in vitro.
