ABSTRACT
The authors observed an increase in the radioactivity concentration of plasma iodotyrosines after intravenous administration of large doses of thyrotrophin in dogs, which they explain by the increased release from the thyroid gland. The cause of the phenomenon is discussed in detail, and it is considered probable that in thyrotoxicosis one of the causes of the high plasma iodotyrosine level is the mono + diiodotyrosine outflow from the thyroid gland,
