Abstract
ABSTRACT
Measurement of the thickness of the virus-infected and proliferating ectoderm in cortisone - treated eggs and control eggs showed that the ectoderm was thicker in the latter group. The control eggs were also more haemorrhagic than the cortisone - treated eggs. These results indicate an inhibition of the production of cowpox virus in cortisone - treated eggs.
