Abstract
In the study, an analysis of life expectancy (LE) for older males and females in the regions of the Northwestern Federal District was presented. The dynamics of life expectancy at the age of 60, 70 and 80 years in the period 1990 – 2020 was studied. It was shown that there are no fundamental differences between the male and female populations in the nature of the dynamics of life expectancy at older ages. No principal differences in the dynamics of life expectancy at older ages between the regions during the period under concideratin were found.
