Abstract

In this paper, we use the affine Yangian of [Formula: see text] to describe the ( β-deformed) Hurwitz–Kontsevich model. We find that the W-operators of the ( β-deformed) Hurwitz–Kontsevich model can be represented by the generators e k, f k of the affine Yangian of [Formula: see text], and their actions on Schur functions or Jack polynomials can be obtained from the 3D Young diagram representation of the affine Yangian of [Formula: see text].
