TANGGUNGJAWAB SOSIAL DAN LINGKUNGAN KORPORASI MENGATASI KONFLIK DENGAN MASYARAKAT LOKAL DALAM PEMANFAATAN SUMBER DAYA AIR DI INDONESIA

Abstract

Reflecting on these regimes, they often experience competition to trigger conflicts over water use. Regarding the existence of a water company in Sukamantri Village, West Java, exposing relation between corporate social and environmental responsibilities related to the exploitation of water resources by the Company in one hand, and the declining quality of water resources on the other. The method used in this context is to analyze the content of legal texts regarding the initial purpose in relation to the content of legal texts and their impact by paying attention to the supporting literature. The analysis is carried out using a qualitative approach through normative juridical approach. The analysis of water resources exploitation by the Company related to corporate social and environmental responsibility are needed as well as regulating substances related to corporate social and environmental responsibility, especially regarding the provisions on legal sanctions, namely the elimination or reduction of incentives of Company. So that the State-Owned Enterprise Company and a Private-Owned Enterprise engaged in the utilization of water resources is obliged to maintain and preserve the  environment.
