Abstract
The Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) is the newly re-established dental qualification of the RCS, which plays an important part in marking progression in dental careers. This article describes how the MFDS has been redesigned to provide a modern, innovative and relevant assessment for today’s dentists keen on professional development, and highlights some of the potential benefits of gaining this gold standard postgraduate qualification.
