Abstract

This chapter describes the life cycle, behaviour, morphology, pathotypes and races, biochemical and molecular diagnosis, interactions with other plant pathogens, and management (by prevention, crop rotation, resistance, biological and chemical control, and integrated method) of cyst nematodes (including genera Heterodera, Globodera, Punctodera, Cactodera and Dolichodera).
