Mutation breeding of sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.) var. 0900 Ziraat.

Abstract

This chapter focuses on the mutagenic treatment and growing of the M₁V₁ generation of sweet cherry cv. 0900 Ziraat in Turkey. The procedures for the treatment and growing of the M₁V₂ and following generations before fruit set are discussed and the performance criteria and production of mutants for registration are presented.
