Abstract
This book provides international perspective on standardizing quality antimicrobial stewardship education and provide the foundation for transforming nursing knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that will shape the judgements essential for nurses and their interprofessional colleagues globally. Each chapter, based on one of the six core competencies, provides a succinct overview of the topic with evidence-based practice standards, case studies and a valuable reading list for furthering the development of clinical judgement and enhancing collaborative practice. Experienced nursing faculty and healthcare educators, for whom this topic may be a first endeavour, will find the book essential for developing new or enhancing existing antimicrobial stewardship curricula.
