Abstract

This expert opinion focuses on the vectors and hosts related to reported zoonotic infections in the genera Anaplasma and Ehrlichia. It also assesses the potential impact of climate change on the distribution and establishment of all tick-borne infections and an increase in zoonoses related to increased tick-pathogen-host interactions.
