Climate influence on tick neurobiology.

Abstract

This expert opinion provides a short view of how climate change may impact the tick nervous system and its responses that enhance the tick's biological fitness. Herein, the aim is to primarily focus this work at the level of tick neural/sensory systems and discuss the potential effects of environmental variation on their performance and adaptation.
