Abstract
This chapter considers the Romanian agricultural sector within the coordinates of the Common Agricultural Policy and presents an analysis of the evolution of the agricultural sector and agricultural industry in the case of several EU-28 member states and Norway between 2006 and 2015. This analysis uses 96 data series: 92 data series referred to 23 EU-28 member states with available data for the following four indicators: vegetal production, animal production, total labour force and gross value added in the agri-food sector, while four data series corresponded to information for Norway. This research, on the one hand, determines and investigates the clusters of EU countries formed by considering the four indicators analysed for the years 2006, 2009 and 2015, and, on the other hand, analyses the similarities and differences between the states that formed representative clusters for the conducted research.
