Amino acid oxidation and urea metabolism.

Abstract

The analysis of protein turnover through the measurement of two irreversible end-products of amino acid metabolism, viz. carbon dioxide and urea, is discussed. Also, discussions on the kinetics of carbon dioxide and urea metabolism are presented.
