AbstractThe prey capturing and feeding abilities, and biological control potential of predatory nematodes against plant parasitic nematodes; resistance and susceptibility of prey nematodes to predation; cannibalism; and prey specificity, life history, ecology, and mass rearing of predatory nematodes are described in this chapter. Predatory nematodes under Dorylaimidae and Nygolaimidae are largely covered. Future prospects on the biological control of plant parasitic nematodes by predatory nematodes are briefly discussed. Tabulated data on predatory nematodes and their host nematodes are presented.
