Domestic and synanthropic zoonoses.

Abstract

This chapter discusses the clinical features, diagnosis, transmission, incubation and transmission periods, occurrence, distribution, control, prevention, treatment (e.g., drug therapy, surgery) and surveillance of different domestic and synanthropic zoonoses, including rabies, toxocariasis, larva migrans, toxoplasmosis, brucellosis, anthrax, leptospirosis and lassa fever.
