Abstract

This chapter describes the effects of environmental conditions (temperature, carbon dioxide concentration, water stress, irradiance and photoperiod) on the physiology (carbon assimilation, water use efficiency, light interception, and dry matter accumulation and distribution), growth (leaves, roots, stems and axillary buds), morphology and anatomy of pineapple.
