AbstractDiscussions on the typical micronutrient requirements of adults, infants and children during home parenteral feeding (HPN) are presented, including discussions on the ways micronutrient provision in HPN may be optimized and some of the risks of excess provision. The minerals and vitamins included in the discussions are iron, selenium, vitamin K, chromium, manganese and vitamin D.
