Abstract
AbstractAs chemotherapy and radiotherapy cause nutrient deficiency in cancer patients, thereby causing a need for nutrient supplementation in this group, there is a need to examine whether antioxidant administration decreases the potency of radiotherapy. This chapter examines published research on the effect of antioxidant (vitamins and food supplements) administration on radiotherapy outcomes.
