Abstract

This chapter discusses: the biotic orchard community; the orchard habitat; arthropod community structure and pest characteristics; sources of arthropod colonizers; arthropod guild in established orchards; the diversity/stability concept and application to agroecosystems management; and levels of integration of orchard integrated pest management systems.
