Abstract

This chapter reviews the different pests of rice including their adaptation to changing environment; the effects of neighbouring crops on rice pests; pest rankings; yield losses in rainfed wetland, dryland and irrigated rice due to pests; and the biological, cultural and chemical control of the pests.
