Non-linear functions in animal nutrition.

Abstract

The aims in this chapter are: (1) to introduce briefly some of the basic principles of non-linear regression; (2) to present some of the non-linear functions used in animal nutrition to represent time-dependent processes and events; and (3) to examine the current and potential use of these functions to describe responses to nutrients.
