Abstract
Properties of solar twins at kiloparsec distances from the local standard of rest are compared to solar twins within 100 pc of the Sun. They have a velocity distribution closely similar to that of the nearby twins in addition to closely matching T

and [Fe/H]. The new twins are a kpc distant from Earth, and closer to the Galactic center. Additionally, they may be significantly older than nearby twins, and thus are useful for spectroscopic comparison with solar twins, in the search for fine structure constant variation.
