Abstract

In today’s conditions, the change in people’s living conditions and intense work schedules tire people physically and mentally. In these conditions, the negativities that people are exposed to can be overlooked. Engaging in physical activities can be effective to get rid of these negative conditions. It ensures a healthy life for the individual and maintains energy balance. Today, the term "wellness" is also used to refer to well-being. The concept called "wellness" in English is used in Turkish as being in a good state both physically and mentally. The sample consists of 217 parents of students selected on a voluntary basis. In conclusion; Physical activity increases the wellness levels of individuals. The gender variable is not a determinant that affects wellness status. The educational status variable is a factor that increases the level of wellness  The income status variable does not have an impact on wellness status. The participants residing in the suburban areas have higher levels of wellness.
