Abstract
Tripolis is one of the ancient cities in southwestern Türkiye. In a faunistic study of soil mites carried out here, a previously unknown species of the family Zerconidae was found in various plant litters and moss samples. Specimens of the new species were also found in two different locations except for their terra typica. All mature and immature stages of the new species, except for the larva, have been described and illustrated here. In addition, various data on the habitat preferences of the specimens found at the study sites were presented.
