Abstract

En este artículo mostraré cómo el número de escaños disponible determina el número y tamaño de los partidos en un país. Este es el punto central de nuestro libro, Votes from Seats. Podemos predecir por cuántos partidos votan las personas, sólo por conocer cuántos escaños están disponibles, ésto sobre bases lógicas, sin necesidad de bases de datos. Los datos entran hasta que probamos nuestro modelo lógico. Estos modelos se sostienen como una suerte de promedio mundial. This paper demonstrates how the number of political parties and their size are determined by the number of seats in the legislative body. As we stated in the book Votes from Seats, it is possible to predict, on the logical basis and without any additional statistical analysis, the distribution of voters' preferences, taking into account only the number of available seats. The data is used only after our model is proved.
